How working with me works
These terms apply to every service I offer: diagnosis, fractional operations, custom systems, one-off projects, consulting sessions and digital templates. The goal is simple: you know exactly what to expect before we start.
Last updated: September 30, 2026The short version
- Everything is agreed in writing before we start: scope, deliverables, timeline, revisions, price and payment terms.
- Work starts with a deposit; final digital deliverables are handed over once payment is received.
- The number of revisions depends on the type of service and is defined in the proposal.
- Anything not in the proposal isn't assumed to be included; scope changes are quoted separately.

01How an engagement starts
- First conversation: by call, email or WhatsApp, we go over your situation so I understand what you need.
- Written proposal: I send you a quote with the scope, deliverables, delivery format, timeline, included revisions, price and payment terms.
- Everything is agreed before we close: nothing outside the proposal is considered included. If something is unclear, we clear it up before starting, not halfway through.
- Ready-to-use digital templates have a fixed price and don't require a proposal.
02Accepting the proposal
- A proposal is accepted in writing (email, WhatsApp or signature) together with the agreed deposit. From that moment your time slot is reserved and the start date is scheduled.
- By accepting a proposal you also accept these terms. If the proposal says something different from these terms, the proposal prevails.
- Each proposal is valid for the period stated in it. After that, price and availability may change.
- Any later change in scope (new features, areas or deliverables) is agreed in writing and may adjust price and timeline.
03Pricing and payment
- All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Payment methods: PayPal, Payoneer, or credit/debit card through a payment link. Platform fees and international transfer costs are included in the quote.
- Clients in Ecuador can also pay by local bank transfer or by card through Payphone.
The usual payment schedule is:
- Projects (diagnosis and custom systems): 50% deposit to start and 50% on delivery.
- One-off projects, sessions and templates: 100% upfront.
- Fractional operations: billed monthly in advance.
This schedule can be adjusted depending on the project; the one that applies is the one written in the proposal.
Licenses or subscriptions for third-party tools (Notion, Box, Google Workspace, CRM, etc.) are paid by the client and are not included unless the proposal says otherwise.
04Deliverables and formats
- The format depends on the service and is defined in the proposal. For example: reports and SOPs (PDF or Google Docs), workspaces and tools configured in your own accounts, dashboards, duplicable templates, presentations and training materials.
- Digital deliverables are handed over once the corresponding payment is received. When the work is done in your own accounts, the final admin handover, documentation and training materials are delivered once the final payment is received.
- Timelines start once the deposit is received, along with the information and access needed to begin.
05Revisions
- The number of revision rounds depends on the type of service and is set in each proposal.
- Depending on the project, there may be partial reviews at each stage (for example, validating the structure before loading your data) in addition to the final review.
- A revision is an adjustment within the agreed scope. Additional revisions or scope changes are quoted separately.
- If I don't receive feedback within 10 business days of a delivery, that delivery is considered accepted.
06Your part
A good system is built by both of us. To meet the timeline I need:
- The information, documents and access required, on time.
- A point of contact with decision-making authority.
- Availability for the agreed meetings and sign-offs.
If there are delays on your side, the timeline shifts accordingly.
07Post-delivery support
For 15 calendar days after the final delivery, I fix errors and make minor adjustments to what was delivered at no cost. Improvements, new features or scope changes are quoted as new work or can be covered under fractional operations.
08Fractional operations
- Billed monthly in advance, with the monthly scope or hours defined in the proposal.
- Either party can end the engagement with 15 days' written notice.
09Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel a project at any time by letting me know in writing.
- Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. I'll hand over the work completed up to the cancellation date.
- Given their nature, templates and digital products are non-refundable once delivered.
10Confidentiality
All information about your business that I have access to (data, documents, customers, processes, credentials) is confidential. I use it only for the project and don't share it with third parties. When we're done, you can ask me to remove my access to your tools.
11Ownership of deliverables
- Once paid in full, the deliverables created for you are yours.
- My methods, know-how and base templates remain mine. They're provided with a license to use them in your business, without the right to resell or redistribute them.
- I only mention your project in my portfolio with your permission.
12Limits of responsibility
- My recommendations are based on the information you provide. Results also depend on your team adopting and using the system.
- I'm not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes of third-party tools.
13Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. If any disagreement comes up, we'll first try to resolve it in good faith.
I may update these terms. Each engagement is governed by the version in effect on the date you accepted the proposal.
